Festival wishlist

Hi guys, you might have noticed that I'm not posting that much, it's because I'll have my final exams in two weeks. I'm learning every day all day long, just to be sure I'll graduate :) Two weeks ago I finally got a job at a garden centre, so I'm busy with working too. Also two weeks ago I turned eighteen, and after my final exams I'll study and practice for my driving licence! At the end of summer I'm going to move to Rotterdam, and live there on my own. I'm so excited about everything but I'm also very busy (yes, I know I say that in every post! It's just true, I'm always busy, haha). I'm looking forward to the summer and the festivals I'm going to. Here is my summer/festival wishlist :)

Featherlight

This week I'm busy with another project. I started with it a few months ago, and this week it has to be finished. I've made two wings with steel and lots of feathers, and tommorow I'm planning to make a stopmotion movie with the wings. In the end I'll project this movie on the wings. I know it might sound weird, but I hope it will work out. Next week I'll have an exposition with this and some other works, and I'm really looking forward to that! I'll show you some pictures of it, by then (:

Spring

The mood changes like the wind

Hey guys, got some pretty positive news; I got accepted at the art academy in Rotterdam! So next year I will be studying photography, I can't wait! That also means that I'm moving to Rotterdam in like half a year, and I'm really looking forward to that! Of course I'm a also bit nervous about all these new things, like living on my own, haha! Last weeks I took a lot of photos for the admission day and you can see them at my flickr. Guess I will have some time for my blog again, now!

In need of sunlight

When the weather is so grey and rainy as today, I'm looking forward to the summer. I can't stop dreaming about it. The only part I hate of summer is the fact that everything's so green, and I don't like green at all! But the birds, the sea, the summerbreeze.. Well, maybe I should focus on my homework!

These are two photographs I took this autumn, but they remind me of the summer a lot.

Dreams

Guess I do not have a lot of time to post in the coming few weeks, but of course I'll try. I'm having schoolexams in four weeks, and an admission day on an art academy in three weeks. In a few weeks I also need to finish a filmproject for school. So that means lots of homework, and lots of photographing. I'm kinda worried about the admission day, to be honest, because I do not have inspiration at all to make the assignments. But I hope the inspiration will come soon!

It's right before your eyes

The pinhole project is finished, so I can show you the results. We've made a word with photographs. I hope you can read it!

The project was quite fun but also stressfull, because we only had a few hours to take all the photos. Because of the stress we made a lot of mistakes, and we took over the 15 photos to get this result. I even dropped an undeveloped "picture" in the wrong chemicals! It looks like a waterpainting now, haha!

Stuck in your head

Since Agyness Deyn is my all-time favorite model - I would love to have her in front of my camera (but this will definitely never happen) - I thought it would be great to post some photos of her. She also has this great personal style!

Don't know why the photos are suddenly so small, but these photographs really inspire me these days. I hate being busy, wish I could spend more time doing photoshoots. In some weeks I'll have an admission day on an art academy, so there's lots of work to do.

Pinhole

Told you about a pinhole project I'm working on, and last friday we did some research and took some photos with our own made cameras. We've made a panorama camera, a camera with two pinholes, etc. Also made some pictures of our work in progress (: Next week I can probably show you the final results of the project!
